Female Genital Rejuvenation Surgery

In today's society, increasing attention is being paid to the appearance of external genitalia. Childbirth, the passage of time, or sometimes simply their development can lead to situations where the patient does not feel comfortable with her sexual organs, which affects not only sexual relations but can also extend to other areas of her social and work relationships.

First Consultation

During the first consultation, a general evaluation of your health status will be conducted, as well as an examination of your external genitalia to determine if rejuvenation of the labia majora and/or the pubic area is indicated in your case. A series of measurements and photographs will be taken to help plan your surgery.

The different surgical techniques that can be performed in your case, as well as the postoperative evolution, will be explained to you.

You should be as honest as possible, expressing any doubts that may arise.

Surgery and Anesthesia

Rejuvenation of the labia majora: Aging of the labia majora is manifested by a decrease (atrophy) in the amount of fat, resulting in an unsightly excess of skin that "hangs".

To correct this, we can resort to a fat graft from the patient herself, thereby refilling the labia with the fat lost due to aging.

This type of surgery can be performed with LOCAL anesthesia and SEDATION, and in most cases, the patient can return home after the surgery. This surgery takes approximately an hour and a half.

Rejuvenation of the Pubic Area: Like the labia majora, the pubic area tends to lose some of its adipose tissue (fat) with age, and the consequent excess skin sags, giving an aged appearance. In other cases, the opposite occurs, with fat accumulating in the pubic area, giving an aged pubic appearance.

Depending on the reason for your consultation, either a fat graft from the patient herself can be performed if there is fat atrophy, restoring a youthful appearance and greater firmness, or liposuction of the mons pubis can be performed to reduce the amount of fat that has accumulated over the years.

This type of surgery can be performed with LOCAL anesthesia and SEDATION, and in most cases, the patient can return home after the surgery. This surgery takes approximately an hour and a half.

Postoperative Care

The postoperative period for these types of surgeries is not painful and can be easily managed with regular painkillers.

You will need a compression garment for the area from which the fat was removed, which will be indicated during the consultation.

There will be small incisions, less than a centimeter, where the fat was extracted and grafted, and the sutures will be removed in a week.

You can resume your normal life without exertion a few days after the surgery.

You should avoid sexual intercourse for at least three weeks after the surgery.

You should use an antiseptic gel for intimate hygiene and keep the area as dry as possible.
